so this past saturday me and the homie joel-weezy went to P3 at the hyundai glen helen Pavilion ...it was da ish..for fREEEE like suga-free...who i may say was one of the dopest acts with Hi-C...sux how DJ Quik didnt come....oh well....once again XZIBIT was the shining star of the night...2nd year in a row iving the best performance of the concert....but the mass distortion stage was somehting else...cuz over therre we got class acts which were better than many who were on the main stage....for example...MURS of LLC..many of you dont know who he is..but hes got mad flow....ummm, who else...oh yea Defari of the Likwit Crew aka Alkoholiks came threw too..he was dope...MAD LOVE...and i mean MEAN PROPS...to Lexicon....or as Joel liked to call them "Beastie Boys upgrade for the new millenium"....damn they were dope...styles of beyond came to the stage too with some ish from their Megadef album...so SOB rocked it...and of course...DILATED PEOPLES......wow....excellent performance..dayam...plus i was lucking out sick that day...at the mass distortion stage i got a mix CD by C-Minus...which is badass i may add cuz i already went through it 2x....nothing but hard rock and hip hop....and a dilated peeps promo CD with ish from their new LP and remixes of old stuff...tite...and at this freestyle stage earlier in the day...i got a sunkist towel...its funny cuz normally im not one to jump upo for shit and try avidly to get free things in a crowd...but its like i wanted to do it that day or something..i was making sure to always have my hands up and jump high and grab ish like im getting a rebound or something...and i dont even do that for basketball...let alone jumpball. haha. anyway.. oh yea...and you heard it here first...

LOOK OUT FOR A DOPE-ASS LYRICIST WHO GOES BY THE NAME OF BLU. that fool rocked the freestyle stage...he said he had albums too backstage in his backpack..i dont know if he was gonna sell em (doubt it) or give em away (i was hoping)....but either way i wanted one...nevertheless it was too dayam hot and i was already 84% deaf cuz i was next to the speakers the whole time (my choce...i liked it..but dayam, ya know?) and so yea...i hope that fool gets a deal cuz dayam he was sick...like dayam...he got rhymes like dayam...like whoa....haha honestly. and this one fool that looked like dub-C got on the sunkist stage too...he was dope...he sang fucking badass...like people that sing onstage improv usually end up sucking...cuz they only hear their headvoice...and their not used to it...and well yea this one irl prolly thought she was the ish too..but wow she tried to do some trills and wow she sucked......as most people would.....poor chick....but this foo...sang like a pro on the mic....and after he kicked some rhymes too...hard shit im telling you....so all in all t was a good time

oh yea Luda gave a dope show too...i enjoyed his entire set except for Act A Fool...the song i have despised since its inception into pop culture...hahaha. oh yea...LIL JON & the E.side boyz rocked it too...i mean its weird because they cant do much but yell and shout and chant and jump up and down like mayas cuz thats all they contribute to the songs they put out...like the guest artists on their songs are the ones whos songs they actually are,...to me....however....what they DID do...they did it well...and i must give LIL JON credit fpor being a badass party song producer....so i mean its his beats and ish...so cant blame him there....anyway...their ENTIRE SET WAS OFF THE FREAKIN HOOK...."Bia BIa", "Never Scared", "I don't give A F**k", and "Get Low" among others.....and it surprised me cuz on get low....one of the fat e.side boyz actually spit one of the ying yang twins' flows. haha.

oh yea, the headliners...213...snoop, nate, n warren g....they totally were unworthy of the headline spot. wow...they sucked...kinda...well okay lets see...snoop went onstage by himself after a lengthy and retarded short film such as the one played before his and Dre's set on the Chronic 2001 tour....and the first song was "Murder was the case"....much of the crowd got into it...but i was like..hmm okay...well i guess this is a good opener...so i got into it....but then like he went on to play some of his whackest songs...a couple flops in my opinion....except for "Down 4 My NIggaz"...which is only dope because the beat is SICK@! and like i dunno its freaking dope.....but yea..then Warren G came out and did his thing...his shit was cool, but i mean theres only so much he can do...hes famous for the shit he did 10 years ago and not for his last two albums (which i may add, were cool...well at least his 2002 one...which i can bet only 1% of the population knows about..but yea the latest one was dope..but of course nobody knows it so he cant play it)...and so yea the songs he played were JAMZ!!! but...it was already done last year when he had his solo set...he did the same exact songs...and once again..its all he can really do...he doesnt have "new ish" ya know? and nate...dont even get me started...he didnt even do any of his solo songs...which freakin sux because his albums were both badass...so that sux...but the thing was it wasnt meant to be solo anyway, right? well...they only played "FLY" which is the one and only 213 single that everyone knows about....by the time they got to that though...we were tired and bored so we decided to get a headstart on traffic....anyways...213 shoulda played their song in which they sample Whodini's "One Love" (which is too far back for many of you youngn's to remember....hehehe)...but yea, sunks...i expected much better out of them...but they pretty much..well...sucked.

anyway, joel took me home after stopping by arby first...damn hadnt had tht in a looooooooooooooooooooooong time.

so yea i meant to update all the way from friday to now...wednesday, october 9...but im tired of writing/typing...so ill leave that for another day...i should be reading anyways....

and on that note i must say The Original Latin Kings of Comedy was just released this tuesday on DVD....so go get it...damn i wanted to ish my pants watching it....dayamn!!!
